Happy 10th Anniversary, Simply!
Simply was founded 10 years ago in 2011. These 10 years didn’t make us old but made us mature. During these years we could keep and enhance our core values, improve our culture and ensure better experiences for our team and clients.
We consistently fulfill our goal of standing by our clients’ side as technical advisers, contributing to their successes, and always providing high-quality services.
And for our team, our goal is to develop and maintain the environment for constant growth and development in all dimensions and keep being a place with a fun and friendly atmosphere. We pledge to stay flexible, try new technologies, follow trends, constantly evolve, and regardless of our age, always stay curious, young, and energetic.
Javascript is Native to Us
Simply is all about Javascript. We do JavaScript, we love JavaScript. Even the HR team knows JavaScript, hmm… well ... a little bit. That is why we are known as #HouseofJavaScript. For someone who desires to grow and become a strong specialist in JS, this is a great advantage. The person sitting in front of you is JS dev, the people sitting on the right and left are also JS developers. This creates a strong community of JS developers in our team. If you end up facing an obstacle, instead of racking your brain for weeks, you can find a minimum of one specialist who has overcome a similar issue.
Even by joining a random discussion in the kitchen, you become aware of some cool stuff and trends of Javascript.

Giving back to the community
Simply Technologies actively supports the development of the IT community in Armenia. We participate in BarCamp Yerevan, JavaScript Conference, React Conference, and other similar conferences and events. We have contributed to their development since their formation, and we mean it when we say formation. One of the founders of Simply, Alexander, is also one of the founders of the JavaScript Conference. We understand the importance of strengthening the IT community in our society, and pull all our efforts towards developing it further.
Simply Technologies is also known for its internship program called JS Hacker’s School(JSHS). The JSHS is a two-month program, for practical and theoretical studies of JavaScript, that is conducted in our office. At the end of the internship program, the best students receive a job offer from Simply, and other partner organizations. The program gives an in-depth knowledge base of JavaScript, which is why the participants easily find their place in the IT-sphere right after the program. At the end of the program, we are always left with a prideful feeling towards all that our participants achieve, and they motivate us to further improve our program.
Knowledge sharing
Growth and development are cornerstones of the culture present in Simply.
Being part of the Simply team means you’ll never stop learning and sharing your knowledge with others. We often organize professional training seminars and non-formal meet-and-greets.
Specialized training is also conducted with our Human Resources department, as well as marketing and project management departments. Our staff can also take advantage of the educational opportunities presented by other organizations, such as classes to widen their knowledge about their profession, as well as take advantage of other resources in order to grow in their professional field. At Simply, we also value the importance of communicating in foreign languages, and periodically organize language classes, especially English for our staff.
Additionally, Simply also organizes different classes for people who are not part of our staff, and during these classes, we share our knowledge and experience with participants.
We are travel lovers
In addition to coding, our Team also enjoys traveling. We go to Tbilisi every year. Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, we could not go out of the country this year but had a great time when traveling across our country. We love traveling so much that after a year of working with us, we help our staff members to buy a ticket and travel abroad. We feel that our staff members should be people who have seen the world, so to speak. We also never miss the chance to enjoy extreme sports under the summer sun.
Positive candidate experience
Candidate experience is of great importance to us. We want everyone who interacts with Simply, no matter why and regardless of the interview’s final results, to always be positively inclined towards Simply.
Applying for a position in our company is very easy! No need to fill long and boring forms.
The interested people can apply via LinkedIn, Facebook, or by just sending your CV, and reaching out to somebody from our HR team. During the interview, we stay true to our company values by creating a relaxed environment, so that the candidates can fully express themselves and their potential.
Putting people first
We have adopted people-centric values and a “no bosses” culture at our company. This is not just a cute catchphrase, this approach works great for us, and keeps us in harmony with each other, our work, and our values. This is embedded in Simply’s roots. When the co-founders of Simply created this organization, at its core, they wanted the organization to be a place where everyone will be happy to come to work every day, and throughout the years this idea remains unchangeable.
We care for our people from the first interaction and through the whole journey together. The onboarding process is also well planned to give a warm welcome to new team members.
This warm and welcoming environment creates a space where people are only happy to help each other and to express their thoughts, ideas and suggestions. Our employees are encouraged to be expressive and independent thinkers.
This culture becomes very evident as soon as you step into our large and open office space, with no closed doors but with transparent glass doors in all meeting rooms.
Creating and keeping this culture, makes it easy for us to have a powerful, goal-driven team.
20000 liters of coffee in 10 years
Good coffee is not something new for the Simply team, it has its story and is an undeniable part of our culture. Contrary to popular belief, coffee is not just a means for being up and active during the day. It’s more than that, it’s like an art for us… no seriously, we are true coffee lovers. We can smell a delicate flavor of the coffee from any corner of the office and recognize whose favorite coffee is being made in the kitchen. That way we can guess who is in the kitchen at that moment. We have baristas in our team who can prepare the finest cappuccino in town. No wonder that during these 10 years we have drunk 20 000 + liters of coffee already and many more to go. 🙂
